Cost Figures

The prices published on this site, including on the Aurora roof cost guide, are typical local market ranges for 2026, drawn from published regional cost data and from what we see quoting and winning work in this market. They are published so you can sanity-check any contractor's quote, including ours. They are not a quote and your roof may fall outside them for entirely legitimate reasons, most often roofline complexity, pitch, layer count and decking condition. Prices also move. If you are reading this well after 2026, treat the ratios between materials as more durable than the absolute numbers.

Code and Permit Information

Our summaries of City of Aurora roofing requirements and of Illinois contractor licensing are drawn from the relevant public sources, which we link to on the permit guide. They are summaries in plain language, not the code itself, and requirements change. Neighbouring municipalities run their own building departments with their own requirements, so Aurora's rules do not automatically apply in Naperville, Oswego, Geneva or anywhere else. Check the current published requirements for your jurisdiction before relying on anything here.

No licence number is displayed on this website. Illinois maintains a public register of licensed roofing contractors through IDFPR and we would rather you look us up there, and look up anybody else quoting your roof, than take a number printed on a web page at face value.
